The first thing I did that day when I got to work was check to make nothing had been moved on my desk. For several days now, I had the feeling that someone was messing with my papers or other things on my desk.
So I had started memorizing the location of certain papers or phone messages or pens. And sure enough, things were not in the same place they'd been when I left in the evening. The cleaning service doesn't touch our desks without prior notice and it's always at our own discretion whether or not we let them dust. So I knew it wasn't the cleaning service.
